Universal Powers

universal powers, universe, power

I've written a bit about my thought's on the 'universe' and touched base upon some of my beliefs like in my #bloggersball post and my finding your life purpose post, but I thought I'd kind of do a roundup post going into more detail of what I actually believe when it comes to the universe and everything.
I think the universe is a magical entity - it's not just the place that holds all the planets, galaxies, milky ways etc I think it's a strange force that can't really be explained. Wow, I'm doing so well at explaining all of this right now lol.

I think the universe is a funny bugger - Although powerful, it's quite dumb - it doesn't know right from wrong so it says "Yes" to anything and everything. I worry about my health and having a heart attack but I also worry about encouraging the possibility by always worrying about it if you see what I mean? Because I'm thinking about it a lot the universe is saying "Yes" to it giving me a higher chance of having one.. scientifically I know it's bullshit because there's like a 0.003 chance of me having a heart attack cause of factors like my age and gender but I still worry because that's what I believe. The same way I tell myself I earn 50,000 a year and ever since doing so, money has come to me easily and abundantly. Maybe it's the fact you're more aware because you tell yourselves these things so you notice more 'signs' and seize opportunities you may not have done before but I believe it starts with the universe saying yes and if it corresponds with your life purpose it will run smoothly.

Coming off of that, I believe if you're on the path you're meant to be on, the universe will give you signs to keep going. If you have an idea that you're umming and ahhing over, the universe will give you signs to proceed or retreat. If you're on the wrong path, the universe will give you signs to try and divert you onto the right path. These signs can come in many different forms, take for example me quitting my job to pursue blogging/writing full time. The VERY next day, I got invited to the #bloggersball where I had the opportunity to meet and build relationships with a variety of different brands, I had people contacting me to write for them, and I had strangers tell me how much they loved my writing. I took all of these experiences as signs - signs from the universe telling me that "yaaaas girl you doing good nd you're FINALLY on the right path! You're where you should be and you're killin' it!"

I also believe that the universe can send some less-than-kind signs like if you have a business idea, a brilliant business idea in your eyes. You think it's fool proof, you create a business plan and commit it entirely then EVERYTHING goes wrong: you can't find a decent supplier, when you do find a reasonable one their prices are too high, you find a decent priced reliable supplier and then your stock gets lost in the post - These are all signs from the universe telling you to retreat retreat retreat! As great as this idea is, or as great as you may think it is, it isn't for you. Not right now, not in this period of your life. But it could also be a test from the universe, testing you on how much you REALLY want this, how much you believe in yourself and your idea and how bad you want it to succeed.

You may feel disheartened, you may even get dead depressed because lol what you gon' do now?! BUT, the universe never throws at you what you cannot handle. You may be dealt shit hand after shit hand but it's the universe preparing you for the future: you will learn new, different extraordinary lessons from these hardships which will catapult you in front of everyone in the future. Maybe the same thing keeps happening, the same shit deal again and again which I know can wear you down BUT maybe you've not learnt the lesson it's trying to teach you yet? I believe everything happens for a reason you just have to look deep inside your soul and find out what that reason is.

What do you think?

  1. I think it's all about perspective! If you think the universe means good for you, your mind is automatically geared to perceive every little good thing in your life, since we're already anticipating something good from the universe, thanks to our thinking process. At the same time, if we think we're going to be expecting bad things (like maybe you broke a mirror or whatever) you're more likely to perceive bad things and attributing them to whatever you think is a cause of all the bad luck you're getting!

So I think it's really important to always keep looking at things in the positive perspective you've outlined above. You can attribute it to the universe, other people, like me, attribute it to God. The important thing is stay positive! ✨

  2. Yes! I feel like I'm totally on your wavelength on this one. I truly believe it's all about the ~vibes~ you send out into the universe. Being positive about things really can change a situation. I also believe in everything happening for a reason, everything has some sort of lesson behind it.

This is a really cool post, made me feel very comforted in a way. :)

  3. It's all about those good vibes! I totally agree that we draw to us what we put out into the universe. We, in many ways, create our reality. Good energy, good thoughts, good life. I always love what you put up, you glorious queen, you. XOXO

  4. I'm a huge believe in things happening for a reason, I also believe we get out of life what we put in, you can't just expect things to happen you have to go out and grab life by the balls, no one is going to be there holding your hand....I should really listen to my own advise haha xx

  5. You were right! A very deep read for this time of night, but beautifully written and something I needed to read.
I've been feeling a little disheartened by life lately and I guess it's time I start paying attention to signs and make the changes I need to.

    Thanks for this!
