A mental health experiment

Our mind and body are connected, for better and for worse. I've been learning about it in uni and I was annoyed at first because what do you mean my problems won't be solved with a hot bath and a candle? However, it's made me curious. I would argue I'm the best I've ever been mentally although I'm still on antidepressants. Due to my curiosity, I've decided to do an experiment. I'm going to look into the research behind mental health tips, find the most valid results and try them out to see if making those changes help my mental health in any way. Hopefully, by the end of this experiment, my mental health will be even better and I might start to think about coming off my antidepressants (although at this point, they're just a preventative measure over me not being able to function without them)

I'm currently thinking of giving myself 3 months (may-july) to stay consistent with the techniques I find and to determine whether or not they help, for me. I will also be trying to find research for mothers of toddlers under 3 years old and also research surrounding neurodiverse individuals.

I plan on writing about it on here to show what research I've found, what I'm trying, and generally documenting the process so follow along if you like ♡
